Building Successful Writing Programs – Elementary

“Building a Successful Writing Program in Elementary Schools: Meeting State Standards and Preparing Students for the State Writing Tests in Grades 4 & 7”

Description:
The Northern California Writing Project is available to offer a professional development series for elementary schools. This institute supports teachers and their students as they meet and exceed state standards. The Northern California Writing Project is an approved staff development program for No Child Left Behind.

This is a 5-day/40 hour series. Continuing Education units are available at extra cost

The Curriculum and Instruction Department co-sponsors an annual Writing Project of the Siskiyous Summer Institute at College of the Siskiyous in partnership with the Northern California Writing Project.
